Azle High School head girls wrestling coach Jayson Conger has been named the 2025-26 National Federation of State High School Associations Texas State Coach of the Year in wrestling.
Conger was selected for the honor by the University Interscholastic League. The award recognizes one coach in each UIL-sanctioned sport across Texas for leadership, dedication and the impact made on student-athletes.
“This recognition is a reflection of the incredible athletes, coaches, families and supporters I am blessed to work alongside every day,” Conger said.
