The Reno City Council received an update on repairs to the city’s water wells, changes to council procedures and a TxDOT agreement, and approved a new financial services provider during its Monday, Oct. 19 meeting.

The water well repair updates came as Reno entered Stage 5 water restrictions after the city of Springtown experienced water system issues, forcing Reno to reduce its own water demand.

The city has since returned to Stage 4 water restrictions Wednesday, Oct. 21.
