Azle High School’s Career and Technical Education program expands work opportunities for students
Nova Wang is one of several Azle High School journalism students participating in a practicum course with The Azle News as part of the AHS Career and Technical Education program.
For decades, Azle High School has offered a variety of CTE programs students have the opportunity to join based on their career interests or to test out the unknown possibilities. Along with the CTE programs, students at AHS — during their junior and senior years — have the opportunity to take a double-blocked period, which is otherwise known as a practicum period, so they can gain work experience through internships or freelancing.
