According to a recent survey, Azle teachers feel safe but would like to see cleaner campuses.
AISD trustees reviewed the results of the district’s instructional climate survey presented by Jessica Hanson, executive director of educational leadership, during a March 17 meeting.
The survey, modeled after the Department of Education’s own climate survey, aimed to assess staff’s thoughts, student support, safety and perceptions surrounding involvement and available resources. With 512 responses from instructional staff, including teachers, counselors, administrators and paraprofessionals, the survey provided key insights into strengths and areas for improvement within the district.
