Azle area early voting

Early voting begins Tuesday, April 22 and ends Tuesday, April 29. In Azle, there are no contested races for city council or mayor; however, there is one contested race for a seat on the Azle Independent School District’s board of trustees. Four candidates are vying for three open positions on the Tarrant Regional Water District board of directors. In Reno, voters will decide whether to lower the ad valorem tax rate from $0.556319 [adopted tax rate] to $0.340111 (voter-approval tax rate) and whether to abolish the corporate existence of the city of Reno.
