Lady Hornets beat Granbury at home

Azle High School Lady Hornets softball team hosted Granbury Tuesday, April 8, and came out victorious by a score of 11-6.

Azle led 5-0 by the third inning but Granbury rallied in the fourth to lead 6-5. But the Lady Hornets rallied in the fifth with four more runs and an additional two in the sixth inning.

On March 28, the Lady Hornets beat Chisholm Trail resoundingly, The Lady Hornets are currently in fourth place in district behind Aledo, Brewer and Fossil Ridge respectively. They play at Brewer Tuesday, April 14, and host Aledo Thursday, April 16; both games start at 7 p.m.
