Azle area arrests

PARKER COUNTY

Dustin Fretwell, 42, of Azle was arrested by Erath County Sheriff’s deputies April 1 and charged with theft of property worth $30,000 to $150,000, a third-degree felony. Fretwell posted a $3,500 bond and was released from the Tarrant County jail April 2.

Leslie Kay Howell, 35, of Azle was arrested by Lakeside police officers April 1 and charged with possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1-B, less than one gram. Penalty Group 1-B specifically relates to fentanyl and its derivatives. This charge is a state jail felony. Howell posted a $1,500 bond and was released from the Tarrant County jail April 2.
