AHS archery highlighted for state performance
Outdoor education teacher Lisa Helm introduced statequalifying Azle High School archery students at an April 21 school board meeting.
The Azle High School Hornets had a great show out at the March 26 State Archery Tournament with the school’s highest ever state finish. Last month the group ended its season after returning from a National Archery in the Schools Program event at the Cadence Bank Expo Center in Belton. The top finishers for Azle were Madison Thomas, William Kisner and a tie for third between Jordan Taylor and Emily Washer.
