The Silver Creek Heritage Society held its Spring Gathering Sunday, April 27 at the Tucker House at 6245 Tucker Drive south of Azle.

This joyous gathering on a beautiful spring day was well-attended and featured a broad selection of delicious food and desserts for all to enjoy.

The society has embarked on a painting project for the home, chapel and dairy barn located on the property as part of its ongoing maintenance activities. In addition to the funds raised by the society, the Parker County Historical Commission provided a matching grant to help preserve these historic buildings.
