Azle High School seniors Zaidee Salas and Ty Bonnett were recognized by The Optimist Club of Azle as the Young Texanne and Young Texan of the Month during a late April meeting. The students were selected for their outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and character.
Zaidee Salas is the daughter of Mayela and Manuel Salas. She is ranked 48th out of 459 with a grade point average of 99.57.
Salas is proud to have maintained a high GPA throughout her four years of high school, a feat she attributes to discipline, time management and perseverance.
