Azle High School Top 10 Academic, faculty choice students celebrate teachers
Each year, Azle High School announces its Top 10 academic students alongside the Top 10 Faculty Choice students. Each of those 20 students selects their favorite teacher — ranging from elementary through high school — and write that teacher a letter expressing gratitude for their influence.
Culminating the experience is a dinner event hosted and paid for by an anonymous donor at the Fort Worth Petroleum Club. Featuring fabulous views of the metroplex from the 40th floor of one of the city’s tallest buildings, the Petroleum Club offers fine dining and is a real treat for the Top 20 students, their families and the teachers they select. This year’s Top 10 Dinner took place Tuesday, May 6.
