Juvenile arrested, charged in viral assault

A juvenile has been arrested and charged with robbery and two counts of assault.

According to a press release issued by the Reno Police Department, officers from that department were dispatched to the Azle Police Department after an assault took place May 3 in the 200 block of Jay Bird Lane.

The juvenile victim was allegedly hit, choked, thrown from a moving vehicle, and had their phone taken by the suspect. The victim identified the attacker as someone the victim was in a dating relationship with, the release said.
