The city of Azle is taking a housing developer to court after staff and council members feel they’ve been misled.
During a special May 13 Azle City Council meeting, council members unanimously voted to begin legal proceedings against Pecos Housing Finance Corporation and others.
A real estate saga has been playing out in Azle since at least November, when the council first began discussing an encroachment agreement allowing the property at 150 Sandy Beach Road to establish a sewer line through the rights-of-way on Sandy Beach Road connecting to an existing sewer line east of Hoover Elementary.
