AHS grads awarded $1M-plus in scholarships

Local groups, businesses give more than $175k

The auditorium at Azle High School was full Friday morning, May 16, as graduating seniors and their families gathered to see who would receive nearly $200,000 in local scholarships alone.

AHS Principal Nate Driver made opening remarks before introducing Blue & Gold Officer Marcia Etie of the U.S. Naval Academy to kick off the presentations.
