Regular travelers of South Stewart Street may want to soon find an alternate route. Reynolds Asphalt is scheduled to begin work at the intersection of South Stewart and Silver Creek Road starting June 5. Originally, construction was expected to begin June 9.
Initial prep will take a few days before full road rehab begins. Work will move west along South Stewart Street away from Main Street.
Traffic is expected to be reduced to a single lane directed by flaggers. Detour signs will be posted along Main Street and Farm-to-Market Road 730 South.
