Springtown ISD has welcomed a familiar face from the area to its football coaching staff — 2018 Azle High School graduate Gamble Moore.
Moore, who played safety for the Hornets under coach Devon Dorris, brings both playing experience and a passion for mentorship to his new role. After graduating from Azle, he continued his football career at Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma and Doane University in Nebraska before completing his degree at Tarleton State University.
Last season, Moore coached at Sabine High School alongside former Azle defensive coordinator Cody Gilbert.
