The gym was alive with energy and enthusiasm as the 2025 Hornet Hoops Boys Basketball Camp tipped off at Azle High School June 2–5. Led by head coach James Crafton and his experienced staff, the camp welcomed 141 young athletes eager to improve their game and have some summer fun.

Throughout the four-day camp, players participated in a variety of skill-building drills, exciting competitions, and themed dressup days like Crazy Socks Day and the ever-popular Jersey Day. Campers brought their A-game each day, with Crafton noting, “The guys were competing and getting after it, sweat dripping and still battling.”

Highlights of the week included playoff games and an all-star showdown, giving every camper a chance to showcase what they had learned in a spirited, teamfirst environment.
