As we wrap up another successful school year, summer activities are in full swing across Azle ISD. Studentrelated summer activities include: athletic camps, CTE camps, Camp Invention, YMCA camps, summer tutorials, credit recovery and our summer meals program. As a reminder, the summer meal program provides free breakfast and lunch to all kids and teens age 18 and under. Meals are served at various locations across the district. Details about the summer meal program, camps and more can be found on our district website, www.azleisd. net.
During the last week of May, we hosted AzleCon25 at Azle High School, providing all staff the opportunity for professional development in preparation for the upcoming academic year. Administratively, we are finalizing our July 1 budget for the 2025-2026 school year and are busy hiring staff.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025, a class of 441 graduates that earned more than $2 million in scholarships, including over $180,000 in local scholarships, and 618 industrybased certifications through our CTE program. This was another outstanding group of Azle Hornets.
