An Azle man is missing after going night fishing on Eagle Mountain Lake, and a body has been recovered from the lake. Identification of the body is pending.
Ruben Fausone was last seen Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning June 10-11 at Twin Points Park. His boat has since been found on the opposite side of the lake without him in it.
In a Sunday morning press release, Tarrant Regional Water District reported that a body was found around 7 p.m. Saturday night. The statement suggests the body is likely Fausone. It was discovered near Pelican Island, north of his last known whereabouts. Official confirmation from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office is still pending and the investigation into Fausone's disappearance is still ongoing.
