Hudman returns to newspapers as summer intern
Lily Hudman of Azle is returning to The Azle News and Springtown Epigraph for a second time as a summer intern. Hudman will be a senior at Azle High School during the 2025-26 school year and hopes to pursue journalism as a career.
“When I was younger, I would watch the news with my dad and I thought ‘this was fun,’” Hudman said. “When I got older, I asked my counselor if there was a journalism class I could take and she said ‘OK.’ I really like to interview people and tell people’s stories.” Neil Corbett is her journalism teacher at AHS, and Hudman credits him with inspiring her to take the leap.
