Hornet Soccer Camp sees strong turnout

137 students attend four-day camp at Hornet Stadium

Hornet Stadium was buzzing with energy June 16-19 as 137 students from grades three through nine participated in the annual Azle Soccer Camp.

The co-ed camp welcomed both boys and girls for four days of skill-building, games and instruction led by head boys coach John Epps and newly hired head girls coach Marisa Flowers. The camp focused on fundamentals, teamwork and igniting a passion for the sport among the younger generation of Hornet athletes.
