Flowers named new head girls soccer coach at Azle High School

Royse City native brings experience, excitement to Hornet program

Azle ISD Athletics has announced the hiring of Marisa Flowers as the new head girls soccer coach at Azle High School. In addition to her coaching duties, Flowers will join the AHS faculty as a geometry teacher.

Flowers arrives in Azle after serving as the head girls soccer coach at Royse City High School since 2022. Over the past five years, she has coached soccer and taught mathematics, including honors algebra I and geometry. She also led the Royse City mathematics department as its chair for the last three years.
