Azle Hornets capture 5A State Title at Lineman Challenge

Big men up front power to victory at Hardin-Simmons University

The Azle Hornets made school history Saturday, June 21, capturing the 5A Division State Championship at the annual Lineman Challenge held at Hardin-Simmons University.

The statewide event brings together high school athletes from across Texas in a unique competition designed to test the strength, agility and teamwork of offensive and defensive linemen. Through a series of rigorous challenges, participants demonstrate not only physical grit but also the unbreakable bonds formed in the trenches of football.
