Conley updates status of Precinct 1 road construction
Highway and road expansions in Springtown and the surrounding areas have been a hot topic for quite some time as Parker County continues to see rapid growth. Parker County voters in 2023 approved a $130 million bond program that encompassed 32 projects across the county. In an interview with the Springtown Epigraph, Parker County Precinct 1 Commissioner George Conley gave a much-anticipated update on the projects located within Precinct 1 that are funded by the transportation bonds.
“We have six different roads that are on the road bond package,” Conley said. “Church Road, Midway Road, W.N. Woody Road, Thomas Road, Hutcheson Road, FM 51 and Veal Station and POJO Road are all within the package. Most of these we are working on this year and into 2026.”
