There is a lot that needs doing in the city of Azle.
During a special June 17 budget workshop, Azle City Manager Tom Muir presented a list of capital improvement requests for the Azle City Council’s consideration. Many of these projects have been a long time coming and Muir hoped to bring them to the council’s attention for further consideration.
Out of the 66 requests, four projects were placed at the top of the list as highest priority: a ladder truck for the fire department, a new fleet maintenance building, a new animal shelter and an additional fire station.
