Growing registration numbers, field improvements, strong community ties energize fall season
Football season is officially underway in Azle, and the Azle Youth Sports organization is gearing up for a big fall. Although registration for fall football closed June 30, it will briefly reopen for the 11/12U division, where numbers are just shy of supporting two full teams.
AYS has seen significant growth across its fall sports programs. Currently, 177 athletes are signed up for football, and 218 have registered for cheerleading.
