Azle High School alumnus John Lisle is once again diving into the dark past of the American intelligence community with the release of his second book, “Project Mind Control: Sidney Gottlieb, the CIA, and the Tragedy of MK-ULTRA.”
A 2010 AHS grad, Lisle grew up immersed in the community through his parents, Mike and Lynette Lisle, who were both longtime teachers at Azle Junior High.
As a child, Lisle was more interested in athletics than academics. He was a longdistance runner and participated in cross country and field, though he has always had a soft spot for reading nonfiction.
