Bison typically stay together in a group known as a herd.

Nature Center moves bison herd for public viewing

Every weekend over the summer, the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge moves the bison who live there to a different pasture by the roadway for public viewing.

The Friends of the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge, a nonprofit organization, owns the bison and pays for 100% of their care.
