Blessed are the Meek Revive UMC welcomes new pastor

Revive United Methodist Church has a new pastor: one with a missionary’s heart and a passion for community. The Rev. Katie Meek recently stepped into her new role at Revive UMC after co-pastors Jenn and Todd Pick were appointed elsewhere. Moving from church to church is the norm among Methodist pastors — who practice itinerancy and are appointed where they are needed most.

The 43-year-old Meek brings more than two decades of experience earned both in North Texas and around the world. Meek is originally from Frisco and grew up heavily involved in her local United Methodist Church.
