For 27 years, Dr. Brooke Porter has helped keep Azle’s pearly whites shining bright.
Earlier this month, Porter was recognized in Montreal, Canada for her commitment to continuing education. The Academy of General Dentistry held its annual conference July 9–12 where dentists like Porter were presented with the organization’s Mastership Award. The award represents the highest level of achievement for members in the AGD. The AGD is the second largest organized group of dentists in North America. It lobbies on behalf of general practitioners, offers continuing education hours and other benefits for dentists.
Dentists are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education every two years in the state of Texas.
