Hornet football camp unites coaches, preps future gridders

Azle gears up for 2025 season

The buzz of football season returned to Hornet Stadium as nearly 80 young athletes braved the summer heat for the Azle Football Advanced Camp July 28–31, led by Head Coach Devon Dorris and his staff.

The four-day evening camp, geared toward incoming seventh through ninth graders, kicked off at 6 p.m. Monday and set the tone for a unified program from junior high through high school. Coaches from both Azle Junior High and Forte Junior High joined the Azle High School staff to ensure a vertically aligned program across all levels.
