Azle Independent School District encourages families to complete their applications online before school starts each year. The district asks that applicants include all students and household members on the same application. Only one application is required per household.
AISD is able to provide free lunches through the National School Lunch Program. Participating schools receive cash subsidies as well as nutritious, 100% domestic foods known as USDA Foods for each reimbursable meal they serve.
In exchange, schools and institutions must serve lunches that meet the federal meal pattern requirements and offer them at a free or reduced price to all eligible children.
