The Azle Rotary Club and Academy 4 continue to work together to create better outcomes for the community’s fourth graders.
During an Aug. 7 meeting and lunch, Rotarians presented Academy 4 Vice President of Development Terrence Butler with a check for $1,000.
Butler visited the club to speak about the mentor program’s progress as it begins its second year in Azle schools. Nonprofit Academy 4 started in 2012 after members of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Worth wanted to make a positive impact on local kids.
