Area woman seizes second chance at life

A La Junta woman has discovered the true meaning behind the phrase “the hands and feet of Jesus.”

Melissa Turner says she was working at 589 Barbecue south of Lake Weatherford one day in late April when she began to feel bad. “I went to the hospital and woke up the next day with no hands or feet.”
