Azle unable to overcome early mistakes
The Azle Hornets opened their 2025 football season under the Friday night lights with energy and a packed crowd for Senior Night.
Despite outgaining the visiting Abilene Cooper Cougars in total yards and first downs, the Hornets fell behind early and couldn’t close the gap, falling 49–25.
