Azle drops district opener at Aledo, rebounds strong on Teacher Appreciation Night
The Azle Lady Hornets opened District 5-5A play on the road Tuesday, Sept. 9, and fell to a tough Aledo squad in straight sets, 1925, 7-25, 12-25.
Seniors Addison Dorris and Jacqui McClain each recorded six kills to pace Azle’s attack, while senior Lyric Mize added five.
