The Azle Lady Hornets girls golf team teed off its fall season at the Dinosaur Classic, held Friday and Saturday, Sept. 12-13 at Squaw Valley Golf Course in Glen Rose.
Senior Brooklyn Sharp paced the squad with a two-day total of 188. She was followed by junior Taylor Merrill with a 196, junior Haleigh Ann “Ha” House at 201, junior Cailyn “CC” Coleman at 203, sophomore Cali Smith at 211, and senior Dakota Donaldson finishing with a 241.
Head coach Derek Dorris praised his team’s effort in the season opener.
