Expansion will allow nonprofit to help more people
People all over the world face food insecurity, whether that happens because of a lack of natural resources, an everincreasing price, or even worse, a bit of both.
According to Feeding Texas, the state of Texas holds the highest rate of food insecurity in the United States. In fact, 5.3 million Texans face food insecurities. That means of every six households, one faces food shortages. For all we know, one of your neighbors could be facing a shortage of food. While that may be a national issue far outside any normal person’s control, here in Azle there’s a place where you can help our community in overcoming crises such as these.
