Azle claims JV sweep and varsity girls crown in Fort Worth meet
The Azle cross-country program delivered a great performance Friday morning, Sept. 19, at the Castleberry Invitational at the Camp Carter YMCA complex. The Hornets captured first place in both the junior varsity boys and girls divisions, while the varsity girls also secured the team championship.
Freshman sensation Jazmin Neri continued her strong season by winning the varsity girls 5K division, while senior Yasmeen Tejeda finished fifth, leading Azle to the team crown.
