Azle volleyball takes down Keller Fossil Ridge and Saginaw in straight sets
The Azle Lady Hornets proved their toughness on the road last week, sweeping a pair of District 5-5A opponents to climb above .500 in district play.
On Tuesday, Sept. 16, Azle opened the week at Keller Fossil Ridge, defeating the Lady Panthers in straight sets, 26-24, 25-23, 25-17. The win evened the ladies’ district record at 1-1 and lifted their overall mark to 20-11.
