Three contractors have been arrested recently in three separate cases in which they were hired to perform services but failed to perform or complete the services as agreed.
In a press release, Parker County Sheriff Russ Authier detailed the circumstances surrounding each of the three arrests.
Sergio Valencia, 54, was arrested and charged with felony misappropriation of trust funds and theft of property after the complainant stated she hired Valencia Custom Pools LLC, owned by Valencia, in March. She paid Valencia $20,000, who had not performed any work and no supplies had been purchased or delivered after two months following her payment.
