The future office building for the Azle Area Chamber of Commerce is getting closer to becoming a reality, with donations now totaling more than $300,000 — one-third of the chamber’s total fundraising goal of $900,000.

Since March 2024, the chamber has been seeking sponsors to fund a new building at 256 W. Main St., located across the street from Azle’s Central Park.

“I hope you will feel the enthusiasm we have about what is happening with the new office building and our plans moving forward,” Executive Director Jennifer Parnell said during the commerce luncheon Oct. 7. “None of this would be taking place without each of you and the way that you care for our community. I’m thankful for those of you who have already contributed to this campaign, with amounts ranging from $50 to $100,000 and we appreciate those of you who are planning to participate. The office building will be a reality, and your support speeds up our timeline. I truly value all that you have done, are doing and will continue to do to make this possible.”
