Azle’s Central Park was abuzz with excitement Tuesday, Oct. 7, as a sea of smiling — and freshly painted — faces filled the area, officially bringing National Night Out to life.

National Night Out is an annual event that brings residents and first responders together on a special evening of collaboration and connection. In Texas, the event is celebrated every year in October — and Azle was no exception for this year’s festivities.

During the event, attendees were served free hot dogs, hamburgers and chips while they explored interactive booths around the park.
