Newark man killed in FM 730 N accident

A Newark man was killed in a two-vehicle accident in the 1800 block of Farm-to-Market Road 730 North about 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11.

According to the Azle Police Department, officers arrived to find a Ford F-250 and a Mitsubishi Outlander with significant damage. A preliminary investigation revealed the Ford was traveling southbound while the Mitsubishi was northbound, both on FM 730 N. The Ford collided with the Mitsubishi in the southbound lane after the Mitsubishi used the middle lane to make a left turn.

The driver and sole occupant of the Mitsubishi was transported to the hospital by medics, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified him as 65-year-old William Michael Morgan of Newark.
