Janis D’Ann Patrick (Jenkins) of Azle passed away May 23, 2026, following a three-year long and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 49. 

Services will be held at Biggers Funeral Home in Lake Worth at 2 p.m. Friday, June 5. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Azle ISD in her name; proceeds will go to Azle ISD libraries.

Janis was born in Arlington Aug. 2, 1976. She was known for her mixture of deeply caring for those around her and her quick wit. She enjoyed making people feel loved through cooking and gifts.

She is survived by her husband, James Patrick; children William and Anna; parents John and Joy Jenkins; brother Jim; sister Randa; and many family members across Texas and Alabama.
