Georgia Ann (Murray) Whatley, 84, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026. 

Burial will be at 10 a.m. July 23 at Ash Creek Cemetery.

She was born Nov. 1, 1941, to James Murray Sr. and Nancy (Keener) Murray.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Martha Keener; daughter, Cathy Whatley Acree; brother, James S. Murray Jr.; sister, Linda Malone; and brother-in-law, Casey Malone.

She is survived by husband of 69 years, Raymond Lewis Whatley Sr.; sons, Raymond Lewis Whatley Jr and his wife Vernette, and Kenneth Whatley and his wife Dianne; granddaughters Lacresha (Chris) Wellington, Crystal Stoffer, Richard Walden and Rachel (J Dallon) Whatley-Hicks; grandsons, Raymond (Sarah) Whatley III and Kenna Whatley; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
