It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sherrell Welch at the age of 75. Sherrell was born April 29, 1950, and passed away suddenly May 2, 2025.

Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 12 at White’s Funeral Home in Azle. Service was at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 13 at First Baptist Church of Azle, followed by interment in Azleland Memorial Park.

Sherrell loved reading, working outside in her yard and watching Austin Butler movies. Her greatest joy though was spending time with her family. Sherrell was a believer in Christ and looked forward to one day reuniting in heaven with her family who passed before her. She was loyal, generous and would help anyone that needed it. Despite being deaf since the age of 3 she took pride in her strength and independence. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Marie Welch; brother, DeLynn Welch; and son, Quinton (Wyn) ODonald.

Sherrell is survived by her son Wes O’Donald and wife, Cresia; grandchildren Cameron, Couper and wife, Kaelie, Zach, and Allison (Boo) O’Donald; and greatgrandchildren, Matt and

Jasper.
