Roger Allen Baisden

Roger Allen Baisden

1956—2025

Roger Allen Baisden was born Nov. 13, 1956, in Oklahoma City. Roger, a believer in Jesus Christ, our lord and savior, passed away peacefully in his sleep of natural causes May 17, 2025, in Weatherford at the age of 68.

A service is being planned at Crossing Fellowship in Azle. Further details will be shared when available.

Roger served in the United States Air Force as an aircraft egress mechanic with assignments in New Mexico, Japan, the Philippines and Texas.

Following a medical separation from the armed forces he leveraged his skills to start an at-home auto shop, after which he proudly continued his civil service with a lifelong career as an auto technician for the United States Postal Service.

Roger found tranquility in caring for his dogs, goats and other animals at his homestead, as they reminded him of his childhood on the farm. He lived by the values of hard work, forgiveness, fairness and devotion to family.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannine Baisden.

Roger is survived by three sibling, Clint Baisden, Bob Baisden and David Baisden; four children, Melissa Larabee, Trevor Baisden, Luke Baisden and Nicholas Baisden; and five grandchildren, Lyla Baisden, Braxton Baisden, Autumn Baisden, Natalie Baisden and Michael Baisden, all of whom he loved dearly.
