Tony Drew Odom was born Aug. 2, 1952, in Hico. He passed away June 16, 2025, in Springtown.

At the family’s request, there will be no public service.

Tony grew up on a large farm in Agnes and attended Springtown Independent School District until the late 1960s. The family then moved to Watauga and he graduated high school as a Richland Rebel in 1969. Tony joined the Navy soon after and was stationed in San Diego, California. He worked all over Texas and the US pouring concrete for more than 49 years. Tony was a hardworking, kind soul. He was a smart, funny and an authentic free spirit that will be missed by many. He loved nature, music and the simple things in life. For the last seven years, he resided with his daughter and grandchildren in Springtown and touched their lives in so many ways.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Viola Odom.

Tony is survived by his children, Maigen (Odom) Sparkman and husband, Joe, Colton Odom and Brandy (Odom) Potter; siblings Sherry Vett, Randy Odom and Larry Odom; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
