Lefa Coleen “Kitty” White Simms, 95, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025, with her loving family by her side.

A funeral service was at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9 at New Hope Baptist Church in Boyd, followed by interment in New Hope Cemetery.

Kitty was born July 22, 1929, in Pampa to Travis and Bessie Scoggins White. She loved attending church, pedicures with Anita, working in her flower garden and all her dogs.

Kitty was preceded in death by her son, Clifton Rogers Simms; sister, Oleta Mae Williams; brothers, Mickey White and Wayne White; and grandson, Kelly Von Glidewell.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters Colleen Duncan and husband, Don and Anita Fornof and husband, Marty; four grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; one greatgreat- grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
